- “Attention”
- “Will the audience please rise?”
- (pause until all are standing)

- Color guard waits in the back of the room for the audience to stand and become quiet.
|
|
- Color guard advances to the front of the room in single file – Guard, US Flag Bearer, Guard
|
- “Color guard, prepare to raise the colors.”
|
- The first Guard unwinds the line on the flagpole and holds it.
- The US Flag Bearer holds the flag while the second Guard unfolds it, making sure it never touches the ground.
- The US Flag Bearer attaches the flag to the rope using the hooks while the second Guard continues to hold the other end.

|
- Everyone, with the exception of the bearer & guards, salutes the flag.
- Cubs do the Cub Scout salute.
- Audience places their hand over their heart.
- The first Guard quickly raises the flag to the top of the pole and the line is secured.

- “Please repeat with me the Pledge of Allegiance.”
|
- The Bearer and Guards stand at attention.
- The Bearer and Guards do not recite the Pledge.
|
|
|
|
- Bearer and Guards salute the flag.
|
- “Color Guard, dismissed.”
|
- The US Flag Guard leads the procession to the back of the room.
- The Narrator follows last.
|
