I’m the mom of a former Scout who lives in Central NJ. I was a Committee Member for both Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts. I usually handled “special projects” (i.e., unusual or boring things the others didn’t want to do).
I also created an orientation manual for Den Leaders, including handouts, which made it easier to run the dens in our Pack. I figured if I can get the Den Leaders hooked during Tigers and they’d stay through Webelos. It worked too!
And I was the unofficial Pack photographer but only because I remembered the camera each month.
One last thing . . . I believe that all processes must be streamlined so that I have time for my two favorite hobbies – relaxation and recreation.
